How You Can Help

We have so many ideas and would like to have the involvement of all of the members to make them happen. Would you like to help us out by volunteering to serve on one of our standing committees? Opportunities exist in the following areas:


  • Facilities- Keep Park Clean
  • Do not Litter park with cigarette butts or other dangerous items for our dogs
  • Emptying trash and refilling waste bags
  • Mowing and reseeding
  • Mulching walkways
  • Signs and Security
  • Membership
  • Process all membership applications
  • Monthly solicitation of membership renewals - very important for retention Systems
  • Maintain website
  • Membership emailings and communications
  • Public Relations
  • Promotions of EDOG to community
  • Maintain open communications with partner organization i.e. Evansville Parks Department, Parks Foundation, VHS, Kennel Club, and other dog-related organizations.
  • Marketing and Fundraising
  • Plan fundraisers
  • Community donation solicitations
  • Program committee
  • All programs and socials for EDOG
  • Social Media Marketing
