I am going to try to take my 1 year old Great Dane, Dega, to the park on Tuesday around 6:30pm if it's not raining. He would love to have some friends to play with and I would love to have some dogs to wear him out!

I really want to try grooming my dog and wondered if anyone had a clipper set they might let me try out. I don't know how easy or hard it is and before I buy a set, I wanted to pratice once. Any help or advice would be appricated.

Hi! We are new to the dog park I have a 100 lb yellow lab named Buddey, he is medium energy and is well trained in manners. We are looking to have a play date. Monday and Wednesday night would be good and possibly weekends.

I have a small 10 pound dog and we really want her to get to know other dogs. She is afraid of big dogs so we want to start her off with someone her size. I would love to schedule a play date with someone that has a small dog and I will gladly work around your schedule. She is 9+ months old and love to play with humans. We are planning on bringing Chef to the park tonight (March 12) around 4:30-5 and tomorrow (March 13) around the same time. If anybody would like to bring their dogs to play with him please come! He is in need to burn off some energy! For those that don't know Chef he is a 60 pound 10 month old pup that is extremely playful and loves to run!

i've missed seeing everyone lately! sadly, with my schedule, i can only get the boys out there on the weekend, and sometimes not even then. but just to let everyone know, justice now has a shock collar that we are training with and he is doing much better. hasn't really been alot of small dogs for him to practice with, but he's improved tremendously on going after collars. and timmy has gotten to wear it a few times to help him learn it's ok if other dogs play with his brother and he doesn't need to get involved. he's a bit more stubborn than justice, but we're working on it.

hope it warms up soon and we can see everyone!!

Tree Branch pile at Dog Park??

Over the last few days, I have noticed a lot of tree limbs, and branchs piled up in a pretty big area in the parking area for the dog park. Can anyone explain to me what is going on? Are there any plans of removing this mess anytime soon?

Pepper update

Hi to all of Pepper's buddies. Just an update on her, she had her surgery after Christmas and is doing well. She had a torn tendon in her back leg. They put a metal plate down the side of her knee and ground her bone down. She can't come back to the park yet, but, maybe in a couple of months. She really misses everyone and will be sooo happy to get back.

We are also looking for a new Vet if anyone has a good one that is reasonable in their pricing, please let us know.

one of our best friends is missing their baby puppy Sadie Rose. She ran away Saturday night from the Garvin park area. Last seen in the Columbia/maxwell area. She has her tags but she's very skiddish and won't let anyone touch her. She's a very small terrier/chihuahua mix brown and white with wirey hair and she's running around freaking out! We're so afraid she will get hit by a car! If you spot her, please call me at 812-455-7336. Would love to help bring this baby home to his family that misses him!!!

Just wanting to say that i will miss everybody at the park it was a blast. Toby im sorry i wont be there anymore for u to hump my leg. And Lacie sorry I cant give u any more treats. Gunner u cant get my hand any more while im giving treats. Libby keep being the mean little girl u are. I am looking for a golden retriever puppy, about 6 weeks old. I have looked endlessly on the internet and the paper and I just am not sure where else to turn. The puppies that I have found are beautiful, but most are $1500 to $4000. I am looking for a puppy for my family, they have been so patient. I have a fenced in yard, love goldens, and ready to add one to our family. If you can help or know of anyone please send me an email, I would really appreciate it.

well i'm gonna go ahead and post it cuz i'm just excited about it, but sadie and karla have been reunited! a wonderful guy found her at washington square mall and held on to her until karla was able to get ahold of him and get her little girl back.
