Looking for a Golden puppy

Posted by luvgoldies on December 4, 2011 at 10:10 PM Comments comments (1)

Hi,

I am looking for a golden retriever puppy, about 6 weeks old. I have looked endlessly on the internet and the paper and I just am not sure where else to turn. The puppies that I have found are beautiful, but most are $1500 to $4000. I am looking for a puppy for my family, they have been so patient. I have a fenced in yard, love goldens, and ready to add one to our family. If you can help or know of anyone please send me an email, I would really appreciate it.

HELP! NEED PARK VOLUNTEERS FOR SABIC DONATION

Posted by SCOUT AND DUKE on June 20, 2011 at 3:29 PM Comments comments (0)

Hello all,

I'm sending this entry to ask for volunteers to help with a clean up for the Sabic Picnic this Saturday from 11:30 to 2:30 at Burdette Park. I'm sorry about the short notice, but I just found out myself that we were approved for this. If we can get enough people there to help out, we will get a donation from Sabic for the DogPark. As some of you know, and some don't, we are working on getting a new lock system in place so we can regulate traffic a bit better...

Young Lab Found on West Side

Posted by Molly and Rocky on May 28, 2011 at 1:55 PM Comments comments (6)

My sister found a young lab this morning out on the west side of Evansville near Broadway Avenue, neighbors said that he had been roaming the streets since the Wednesday night storm. He is a sweet heart, she can not tell if he is fixed or not, she thinks he is still younger than at least 2 years old. We are trying very hard to find his home or a new home, otherwise they will have to send him to the shelter and we do not want that. If you know of someone looki...

I was out running errands today when I found this sweet guy wondering around the streets on the West side of Evansville. We definitely need to find him a home, he has tags on and has been nuetered so we're going to go to the VHS and see if they might be able to look up his information because the phone number on here seems to be the wrong number (or they abandoned him and a...

What a great night!  I know I had 20 people show and if they all ate like I did, we are gonna raise some moolah to fence in the dogpark fence.  Thank you to everyone that showed up to support the park!  I'm excited to hear the grand total.  :)

Good home for dogs

We have two four year old female lab mixes that have enjoyed the dog park very much.  We are now in a position where we need to find them a good home.  They can be seperated, but would prefer them go as a pair.  They are fantastic dogs.  Please let me know if you are able to give a good home.

Looking for boarding site

Posted by indiananana on June 8, 2010 at 12:02 PM Comments comments (4)

Hi everybody,

Can anyone recommend a boarding facility with room for running and playing? I have to travel for about a week on a family medical emergency and can't take Johnny with me. The source I used with Samantha has closed. I hate to put him in a place with only cage/crate space. Any ideas you have would be welcome.

Hello to all!  I'm soliciting help for fundraisers this year.  We have a goal of getting our second acre fenced for even more doggie fun, but it's gonna cost us!  I'm looking for ideas, help, connections, labor, basically anything that is gonna get us more fenced area.  Listed below are the ideas we have come up with so far:

1. Dogwash  to be held at a location that is safe for the dogs but free for us.

2. Selling ad space to businesses to have advertisem...

Portraits for the Spring

Hello, as many know, I do a lot of photos on our four legged children at the park (mainly during warm season :)) and you can see many of my photos in the gallery. I've talked to Carrie Heck a little about this already, but I'm interested in doing portraits of people and their best friends at the park starting in the Spring (or March if it starts warming up). There will be a small fee for the work but the photos for you are free, I am in the works for my website which is

Puppy FOUND A Home

Posted by Molly and Rocky on December 1, 2009 at 5:40 PM Comments comments (10)

My husband and I found a puppy today, in a place called Floyd Stuabb down near Glenwood School. It is a boy and he is black with white markings on his face and chest. He is very young, probably not even 5 months old yet, I am taking him to the Vet this Thursday to figure out his age and make sure he is healthy. I am very happy to be changing this blog to saying that this lucky puppy has found a home. I am going to post two photos of him up in the photo gallery.

The tunnel is here!

Great news everyone! The dog agility tunnel has arrived at my doorstep!:D I will be taking it to the park this afternoon around 3 p.m. to find a good place to put it, I'm going to stake it to the ground so the dogs won't be able to roll it out of place. Molly and I will be there for a little bit, I'm going to see how soon and willing Molly will be to go through it, wish me luck and hope to see others there!

GREAT NEWS EVERYONE!

My husband and I have been talking, we were thinking about buying the materials to make an A-Frame like you see at agility contests, and then my husband had a possibly great idea, he is going to design a custom ramp for our doggies! He did a quick design on auto cad, it is massive but besides being an A-Frame, it has 3 holes in the center of it, the center tunnel being large enough for the large dogs and the two smaller ones on the outside being small enough for our little dogs to hide in if ...

Dog Agility Equipment

Posted by Molly and Rocky on November 16, 2009 at 10:42 PM Comments comments (4)

I wasn't able to make it to the Meeting tonight, but I started looking online on Ebay for dog agility equipment and found some pretty good prices on tunnels, 18 ft tunnels with a 24" diameter for around $49.95, and some of those tire jumps around $71.00.  If anyone is willing to go in with me on some of these, we could talk about it more either through email or this coming weekend at the park, that would be awesome. Any questions, email me or comment on here.
